Virtually all operators will collect and drop at that resort. I don't know which operator the resort currently recommends, but either way that will not be a recommendation from your point of view. Of all the operators in the area my favourite would be Island Divers, though Ecologic Divers is now a good operator, Ramon's is good, and there is a new very local operator which may turn out to be good. Either way, maybe book your first day's diving in advance but no more - check around once you get here by visiting the operators personally.

Xanadu is an excellent choice! :)

If you are looking for great beaches, CNN recently selected two of Belize Beaches for their list of the top ten:

47. Placencia Beach, Belize
Placencia has great beaches, but it's the adventures to be had that make this a top 100 beach destination. Jungle rivers, Mayan ruins and fantastic wildlife make this one a beach trip with various purposes.
Highlight: Monkeys, iguanas and the chance to kayak in a lagoon with manatees.

71. Laughing Bird Caye, Belize
Reaching barely a meter above sea level, this protected isle is less than a hectare in size, but offers one of the best day trips off the Belize coast. A huge amount of coral, bird and marine life call this place home, which is why so many visitors call it perfect.
Highlight: The laughing gulls after which the isle is named have moved on, but herons, blackbirds and pelicans can often be seen.
