Hello, Wife and I have been diving for over 20 years, over 500 dives each. We've been to most Caribbean locations and South Pacific locations (not Australia) We live in Florida and only dive in warm water (77 degrees min.) Our favorite diving is on live-aboards, but we welcome all suggestions.
We need some new ideas on dive travel. Any ideas?

Always good to have another veteran diver join us. You'll like it better if you complete your dive info and profile.

I'm sure you know more about dive travels than I, but you'll find a wealth of info, opinions, and great members on our various geographic forums...

And don't be shy about posting. Click Forums above, tour the long list of choices, and jump in anywhere you're qualified. PM me with any questions, and I'll try to find a pretty good answer.

Hi jackbymiami. Welcome to ScubaBoard! I'm a pretty new diver but I was thinking maybe the Seychelles would be something to look into.

Don, Thanx for the info. I'll follow up.

John, The Seychelles is an area that I have been interested in. Our concerns there are whether the recent storms etc. have done much damage and general safety. We're pretty adventursome, but don't need bombings etc.

Thanx for the suggestion. We'll explore further

Hi jackbymiami,

It sounds like you have been around, I'm actually jealous...I'm flat out of suggestions myself but your more than happy to check our website and maybe giving us some ideas on your travels. Happy diving!

Welcome to the Board, and i'm sorry you do not like cold water dives, in the North East we have a lot of fun, but well we ae happy to have a well experience diver like you in the board.

Cheers,

B2B (Back to Bonaire) :)

You might check out Brockville in Canada, I hear the water there is actually warm. Might be a few degrees cooler than your 77 but if memory serves correctly I believe the temps are still in the 70's. There are good threads about Brockville trips on the board.

A "been there done that" dive might be Homestead Crater in Utah. It's more of a novelty dive than anything but the water is about 90 degrees. Bonneville Seabase in Utah is pretty warm and it's a salt water dive complete with live nurse sharks and other tropical fish.
