Anybody know of a good underwater camera that doesn't break the bank? I am tired of paying other people to get my diving experiences on film!

Lots of digital u/w cameras out there... a couple under $100, couple more in the $100 range... and up... Any particular needs on it? Expandable/upgradeable or just a camera that takes pics?? An underwater profile is good to have (basically a filter to make u/w things look better/right).

In a cost effective solution it is hard to beat the picture quality of the Fuji F series cameras.
Fuji makes a few nice housings for some of these models.
The camera I am now using is the Fuji F50fd with the FXF50 housing. This outfit can still be found new online for under $300

Have you checked out the Sanyo Xacti VPC-E2? It's built for underwater and it's fairly affordable (~ $200 on Amazon.com). Admittedly, it's not the greatest chip set, but then again, it is only around $200 for 8 MP photos and 640x480 video direct to SDHC flash card . . .
