Yes, mam, the GUE/DIR group as a whole are very accommodating, regardless of the select few out there that continue to symbolize the negative stereotype. We've got a 3 man team going to take Fundies with Doug in a couple months at High Springs and can't wait for the class. Every pool session, every lake session brings us closer to the goal.

Keep focusing on your goals and you will get there!

Beiji, we are diving in the St. Lawrence most weekends, and I actually have a GUE friend in Syracuse, that would more than likely be happy to go out for some dives with you. Please let us know if you are in the 1000 Islands area, and wish to get together!

We have quite a fun group of divers, from GUE Ontario, and who knows? Perhaps we can recruit more!

Can't help you on the Fundies classmate, but if you want to spend a day or two diving at Dutch I'm always happy to mentor or just be a buddy. PM me if you're interested.
