I've used Scubasoft tubular ankle weights and they're ok but tend to roll a bit which can be a tiny bit distracting. They're a fine product and lots of divers are happy with them, but I'm hoping to find something flatter and more rectangular (sort of like a mini hard block weight belt) but they could be soft weights as long as they lie flat around the ankle.

I take 2lbs. on each ankle. Eventually I'll try to do without them but at this point, lowering the tank isn't a personal option as I want to be able to reach the valve. No problem when wearing negative fins but most of the time I'll be using semi-positive fins.

I've perused catalogs and will do more google-ing but if you know of something/have used them that would be great.

Thanks. Jim
