Some days I get so sick of taking flack for having the tech requirement that I feel like dumping the whole program...
That is an interesting threat. I have to wonder how many of your customers ended up going with HOG because you were providing parts support to end users? I wonder it they, and future customers, realize how tenuous that support may be? I suspect some customers might get really upset were that support to be withdrawn.
I remember when Scubatoys first showed up. I remember Larry's promise to sell service parts for any regulator they sold. Then I remember how they suddenly stopped doing that for some brands. Then it got to you had to talk to Joe if you wanted parts. I'm no longer sure what the status is of their original promise. I use to see them as something special and did not hesitate to send shoppers that direction. Now they are just one of a number of online sources worth checking out but nothing special. They have lost their distinction from the rest of the herd in my judgement.
