looking for dive sites in costa rica

anyone know of a good area to take family ? in costa rica ?
i dive , wife does not . she snorkels though. kids like nice beach , wife and i like nitelife after diving , snorkeling . prefer to be a LITTLE off the beaten path ?
anyone with ideas ?
