Hi Jon and welcome to SB,

Only "club" I am familiar with is Lynnhaven Dive Centers, dive club. They offer discounts on dives and run the boat during the normal dive season here off VB.

Bill Ripley has a facebook dive club called VB Tech also.

If you need a buddy, I have tanks full and ready to dive almost anytime. I am a AOW with Rescue/AN/DP diver and would rather be a fish than a human.:D

Thanks randy .. I have everything except tanks which I will probably purchase before the season starts. Hope to do lots of diving around the area and possibly some trips the Carolina's I heard there is some good diving there.

I will check out lynnhaven, also wouldn't mind finding some local divers for maybe some shore dives?

Do you mostly solo dive or charter?

Hatteras or Morehead City ROCK!!!! Wrecks, blue warm water with good to great visability make them both worth hitting monthly during the season. Shore diving here is, um, well, not so great. I will shore dive though!

I dive with or without someone on just about any type of floating vessel, private or charter, as long as it gets me back to shore.

Let me know when you need tanks. I buy and sell a lot of gear locally.

BTW.....If you are an AOW diver. The Virginia Aquarium volunteer dive team holds tryouts 2 times a year. It's a good way to dive when the weathers ****ty outside and it's for a good cause and lots of fun.
