Hi all,
I am normally a lurker on the board but decided to come out from under my rock! My girlfriend and I have been visiting family in the Northeast and she decided she wanted to stop in and see a close friend on Long Island for several days (Oceanside I believe she said), so this means I have 3 full days and a trunk full of dive gear to entertain myself. I was hoping to meet a local diver or 2 and check out some of the local sites, shore or boat. I have a passion for maritime history and shipwrecks, and I know Long Island has plenty, but any type of dive would suit me just fine. The days I will be there are next Tuesday (28th), Wednesday (29th), and Thursday (30th). If you are interested and available, let me know! After dive drinks are on me!
