Looking for dive buddy in Israel

I will be in Israel mid dec to to jan and looking for a dive buddy to dive the area. Would be nice to have a locals insight and someone to dive with.

I guess no one wants to dive with me? I also want to check out Aquaba

hello mate - don't think it's because nobody wants to dive with you - just nobody's planning a trip to Israel or Aqaba and they are not exactly the Red Sea's hottest diving destinations, although for sure there is good diving to be had.

For Israel - no idea, sorry - but for Aqaba, check out Dive Aqaba and since I'm feeling biased and not so secretive today, Sinai Divers also have an operation there. I have no experience of either, although I work for SD in Sharm, but Seacairgh recently visited dive Aqaba and seems to have had a great time there.

As for the budget - you will probably just about squeeze in a single day's diving for $100 plus equipment rental, but check out the dive centres in advance - many offer discounts if you book in advance over the internet.

Not much help I know - but better than silence!
