Hi all.
Going to spend a week in edisto sc early august and looking for recommendations on local charter operators etc in the area. Looking to get out to some of the wrecks but only have the "ok" to step out on the family vacation for 1 day.

Any insight greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Phil

I've no personal exp. with them - weather cancelled our charter, but on your way to Low Country, before you cross the bridge you'll pass Charleston Scuba on 17. We went there before to pay and they seemed reasonable.

The whole family might also enjoy the South Carolina Aquarium.

I agree with Jet about the spearfishing at Lowcountry. We also use Charleston Scuba. Twenty five years in business with no fatalities. 30' Island Hopper without bridge. We have a really nice 45' Newton Dive boat 45 minutes north at Express Scuba. We also dive the rivers for sharks teeth. Have some personal guides I can recommend if interested. Everyone has their favorite wrecks. I like the Hyde, the Civil War Wreck and the Hebe. Express runs to those. The seas started laying down last weekend. Maybe they will stay down for you
