Looking for Aqualung/US Divers Regulators identification

Hey. I acquired a set of 1st and 2nd stage regulators recently and was looking for a little info if possible. they were thrown in with a purchase of a like new used name brand set i bought.

The 1st stage is unknown, but the 2nd stage is an Aqualung/ US Divers 1085 model with a serial number of 142437. From what i can guess, it's probably from the 70's or maybe earlier. But there's no model number on it, from the other's i've seen the model name is on the purge button, but it's been scratched off.

the exhaust tee is brittle and is cracked. I've checked and rebuild kits are available and cheap, but all of the replacement exhaust tees i've seen for sale won't work on this one because this tee is fastened to the regulator by 2 screws and it looks to be wider than the push in exhaust tee's.

Tonight i'm gonna hook it up and test it out and see how it does. i imagine it was originally used on a pony bottle with the newer set i got. but i was hoping to ID it before i start trying to modify it to fix and/or replace the exhaust tee

First stage is a White Stag Sea Lung from the early 60's:

Second, as you said, is an Aqualung 1085 second... Doesn't really matter what 1st it originally came with, the are all the same internally. If all the hard parts are okay, the question becomes condition of soft goods. If it already has a silicone diaphragm and exhaust valve (I've come across a couple with actual rubber diaphragm and exhausts... that needed replacing), all you really need is a hockey puck soft seat, a 014 O-ring, and maybe a new nylock nut. I use a couple 1085s with that style T on them (cracked and brittle, but still working like a champ). Modeling and 3d printing a replacement for the T is on my to do list.

That first stage looks like a Dacor to me. I think that is the Dacor Olympic 200.

The Olympic line showed up in the Dacor 1969 catalog. You can see the Olympic 200 on page 4. The scanned copy that we have is clear enough to identify it, but it is not perfect.


That exhaust T is indeed a perfect candidate for a 3D printed replacement. You could design a somewhat shorter T and that would make a great Octopus second stage.

The first stage is a Dacor Olympic 200 (1969-79). Unbalanced diaphragm that uses the same HP seat as the Dacor double hose regs. You can resurface it pretty easily. If you use it, be sure to set the IP at a low tank pressure (300ish) as IP rises as tank pressure falls, backwards from what you would expect.

Thanks for all the info. after hooking it up to test it, the 1st stage needs rebuilt as the pressure is way over 150psi and forced air thru the 2nd stage as soon as i cracked the bottle. But i took off the 2nd stage and hooked it up to a good air supply and it seems to work fine. But i'm still gonna go thru it and clean everything and go from there.

but i have a little work to do on everything else tho. I found out the bottle yoke inlet oring needs replaced as it as a small leak, and the high pressure gauge has bad o'rings on the swivel stud, but besides that, everything else seems to be good on the newer set i got. Which is a Scubapro MK10 w/ Scubapro G200B. But i am gonna go ahead and buy a rebuild kit for both of those to have on hand. I'm gonna test everything in our pool several times to make sure there's no issues before i go deeper.

That's okay, as I am always interested in White Stag equipment. They were in our home city of Portland, Oregon.
