I am a graphics reporter from the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, a daily newspaper based in Fort Lauderdale. I am working on a full-page graphic on rip currents and sea lice/seabather's eruption.
I have posted this message hoping that someone has a closeup photo of the skin irritation, showing a patch of skin.
I hope to find someone that will let me use the photo in print with proper credit, as soon as possible.

If you have a photo that might suit this purpose please let me know. I can receive any of the usual formats such as jpeg, .tif, etc.

Thank you for your time,
Cindy Jones-Hulfachor

Hi Cindy,

Try...http://www.fau.edu/safe/sea-lice.html

Your answer was even closer to home!:)

It has a picture of the rash and the little buggers that cause it.

Geez, I hate it when sea lice happen!

I am writing just to let you know that I have decided to go ahead and illustrate the condition myself. I've given up hope on finding a photo.

Thanks anyway,

Cindy Hulfachor

Sorry,

For some reason the note I posted about Larry's link didn't register on the board.

I have tried to contact the authors of that paper with no luck. You see I have to have permission to run the photos in the newspaper.

I did see a few photos on the Internet but I wasn't able to reach anyone to get approval.

Actually, I have just about finished the illustration and it should be fine.

Thanks for your concern,

Cindy Jones-Hulfachor
