make sure you know what you are getting into- labs and goldies can be a handful when they are really hyper. i would go for a bernese mountain dog like i one i have- my Latke. they are big, yes, but they are soo chill and calm. they like the indoors (unless it is snowing) and will just chill out the whole day. a great loving dog.

but you seem to have your mind made up- so i wont try to change it.

hmmm i like Nitrox a lot- how about DAN? hehheh

So I am getting ready to take on a puppy. Looking for a male short hair golden lab or black lab. He is going to be be (hopefully) the new mascot for our shop and be an unofficial DDM (Doggie Dive Master - corny I know) on our boat.

I am looking to get some input on some possible names for him. When I was younger, I had a friend into water skiing and he had a dog named Kidder - after Kidder brand skis.

Anyone have some input on a good scuba diving related name for him?

Awwww, that is SO cute!!! Oh a little puppy to be the mascot! I'll come to your dive shop just to see the puppy! What a cute thing to do!

I love nitrox and fin. But DAN's cute too, though I don't think a lot of people will get it right away...
