So I am getting ready to take on a puppy. Looking for a male short hair golden lab or black lab. He is going to be be (hopefully) the new mascot for our shop and be an unofficial DDM (Doggie Dive Master - corny I know) on our boat.

I am looking to get some input on some possible names for him. When I was younger, I had a friend into water skiing and he had a dog named Kidder - after Kidder brand skis.

Anyone have some input on a good scuba diving related name for him?

Thanks!

Tank?

I do like "Nitrox" though

how's about fathom...(I notice these are all kinda male names) though the other 2 are great as well.
By the way...the greatest water loving breed is the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. I have 2 myself! Can't keep them out of the pool and they have a stamina that is reknowned among dog lovers.
Actually, it's a shameless plug for a rescue group I belong to: www.cbrrescue.org

Boyle.
Hydro.
Narced.
DAN.
Zodiac.

Call him backplate, then get a female and call her wing (corny...I know)

Dunk?
Dip?
Floater?

or, my favorite: Salchichon! (It's a very long story - Spanish for "sausage")

everyone seems to have all these great macho diving names for your dog, but its a lab right? so knowing Labs the way I do I would say..... FIN, as a pup in your shop he will love stealing and chewing them, good luck!
