I've been diving with a UK remora for a while now (on my waist band webbing), but it's a little small to use effectively with my dry gloves on. While I carry a a pair of shears in my pocket, I'd like a bigger knife (preferabley titianium) which has a shealth that will fit through standard harness webbing.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

The OMS knife will work well for you, and it is pretty affordable at titanium knives go. I think you would be happy with it. The sheaths are a little stiff when you first get them but they east up after a little use.

Is the OMS knife much bigger than the Remora? It doesn't look like it is. I currently have two remoras but the OMS looks good for heavier gloves if it's bigger.

Remora:

# Over all length 6 1/2"
# Blade Length 3"

(so handle 3.5"?)

OMS:

Handle: 4"
Blade: 3.25"

(so overall 7.25"?)

Seems a bit bigger, definitely. My LDS carries it, and I recall thinking it looks like a good knife. OMS makes a lot of tech gear stuff aimed at cold water divers, so I'm guessing this would be a good step up from the Remora.

Personally I like the Halcyon titanium knife.

Blade is only 2.5" but that's always been plenty for anything I've needed it for, and the handle is easy to use with gloves. Overall length 7", so 4.5" of that must be handle, making it the biggest of the three. Webbing sheath works very well on my Hog harness's waist band.

Yeah, that's what I've been telling the ladies for years...:D

Thanks for running the numbers for me. Not sure why I didn't think of that little trick we call addition.
