I am looking for a underwater housing for my Olympus C-740 ultra zoom camera. I have found http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/cpg_underwater.asp this one and i was wondering if it was a good one. Other than a housing what should i be getting. I just want good, clear easy to see pictures. I also posted a thread about my camcorder and getting a housing for it; if u had to choose one which is better to have for ur dive. Which would have a better quality product?

The Olympus housing is fine. If you do a lot of diving then you may consider the Ikelite housing, which costs $500.

I dove the PT-018 for two years and it was terrific. No issues with it at all. However, had I had time to wait (and a couple extra scuba bucks in the bank), I'd have gone with the Ike. Definitely the Ike if I did it all over again. Just more robust and terrific customer service. But, if the PT-018 fits your budget better and you're not going to be diving frequently, go for it.
