that i can use for an 02 analyzer to attach the lp inflator hose. looking for a cheap light weight small first stage to use just for checking nitrox so i don't have to carry analyzer and regs to check tanks. i would like to find a straight configured first stage like this.

I reccomend the Poseidon Xstream Duration model. The internals are designed for oxygen use, unlike any other scuba first stage, and it is oxygen ready right out of the box.

Poseidon :: Xstream Duration 1st Stage G5/8

Just get a yoke adapter to make it look like the cylinder first stage you have pictured.

I purched an older model called the Oxygene off eBay and had it rebuilt and it work great and only has three ports because it was designed as a deco regulator.

thats cheap for a new reg! if someone doesn't come by with an old used one for cheap i will go this route.

You should be able to find an old MK2 or sherwood for $20-30. You'll need some sort of relief valve to get the reg off the tank, I'm sure you know that. So, you're carrying an extra 1st stage, LP hose, and bleeder valve. I'm not sure how this saves you from carrying an analyzer as well, but maybe I missed something.

why could you not use a 3/8 to 9/16 adapter with a qd screwed into that. this prevents all the hoses from pressurizing this leaves just the first stage with pressure on it bleeding thru a flow restrictor to the 02 analyzer, so it takes what 2 seconds to bleed off?

here is a similar system with no bleeder valve

I was taught to first to zero the settings with atmospheric sampling. Crack open the valve of the tank slightly and let the gas pass through the analyzer lightly. Why do you need a reg in the first place?

I've not seen an analyzer that works with pressurized gas unless you're using the reg to reduce the flow to 2-3 lpm.

If so this should do nicely:
TDL GA-DIN-Flow gas sampling device [GA-DIN-Flow] - $121.50 : Tech Diving Limited, a subsidiary of Scuba Training and Technology Inc.
or this,

so about the same thing as a cheap first stage a 3/8 to 9/16 adapter with a qd and a bcd connector with a flow restrictor 1-2 lpm
like these. for about half the price and still have the option to connect it right to my regs if i need to
