I will be in Malaysia next July / August for a family wedding.
I am the only diver, however the wife has done a discover scuba on our last visit and has considered getting qualified. Our teenage daughters (17 & 15) have shown no interest.
I hope to be able to get 1 week after the wedding for a family holiday.
While the thought of leaving the girls in Mega Mall is very tempting, for all, I think they will be coming with us.
The trick is going to be finding somewhere the wife and girls can enjoy themselves and I can dive.
I hope to have loads of brownie points as we will be going via the wifes family in India then on to Malaysia.
The girls are not party animals and could just sleep and read for a week, however if they are bored then I will, to some extent, get it in the neck. They could stay with family in KL or Ipoh however they don't have transport and will be stuck.
If we go to Sabah then a visit to the Oragutans will be essential.
The girls have been to most locations on the peninsula so maybe Sabah would be a better option.
All ideas welcome
