Staying at Captain Morgans at the end of July. Looking for a good dive boat that picks up at the resort dock and is not a cattle boat. Would love any suggestions anyone has. Thanks

As a family, we've been diving on Ambergris for a number of years. Our favorite shop is Island Divers. Rudy Duran and his shop Welcome to Island Divers Belize always have treated us very well. Rudy and Nef instruct. Rudy, Nef and Lloydie are the DM's. All do a very good job. I'm sure it would not be beyond possibilty to have him pick you up at the Captain Morgans dock. We typically stay South of town, and I don't think you will be staying any farther North than we did South. Send him an email. His boats are in good shape, groups are small, rental gear appears in good order and he is safety conscious. He lets you dive your computer and often will separate groups by experience. Chuck and Robbie's fits your wants. Their dock in on the north end of town next to Wet Willies bar. Robbie does a great job at keeping dive groups smaller and great personal service.

We will be staying in Ambergris Caye and are debating between Island Divers and Chuck and Robbies. We are all a bunch of new divers. Any thoughts about the two operations?

Both have high reputations. Where will you be staying.

An option if staying at Captain Morgan's is White Sands dive shop, run by Elbert Greer. Also a high reputation.
