I'll be traveling to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, & Mazatlan in June, and am looking for recommendations on dive op's in these cities. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Can't help you on Cabo or Mazatlan but in Puerto Vallarta two dive operators get consistently great reviews...Pacific Scuba and Leslie and Nacho from Local Divers. Both offer small groups and great service along with a willingness to go to the better dive sites.

Thanks for the info. I will definetly look them up. This begs the question of which of these ares will offer the best diving?

Lucky you!! I dove with Pacific Scuba on two different week-long trips last year and was very pleased. Small boats, professional and knowledgable yet fun DMs, great diving with a large variety of sea life. Haven't been to Cabo so can't compare. Enjoy!

I have dove both PV and Cabo. I like them both, they seem about the same as far as fish life and visibility. Cabo the dive sites are about 5 - 10 mins from the dock, in PV the dive sites are from Los Pienes Pier 30mins for Los Arcos and 1 1/2 hours for Las Marietas and even farther for El Morro (plus you have to factor in time to get to the Pier). The dock in Cabo is central and about 10 to 15 mins from most hotels in Cabo.

Amigos del Mar is my favourite dive op in Cabo. Pacific Scuba in PV.
