Looking for a dive light

I am going for my advanced this spring. So I need some lights. Can anyone suggest some for me. Primary and back up. However I would like to stay away from canisters. I am a poor college student. I like the UK 100 HID one but I heard bad things about it. Are there any LED lights or other lights that people suggest? Thanks everyone.
