it seems that most orperator provide 2 dives a day ( excluding night dives )

Im looking for a double tank in the morning with an early departure ( 7.30 ?) plus a third dive in the afternoon ( 2pm ) that would be a real dive, not something in 30ft.

Small boat /fast boat. small group of divers mostly experienced divers. Nitrox. i dont care much to be pampered.

Check out Thatch Caye, southern Belize, as they tend to put together the package you want and quite often you'll have your own boat and Instructor......

They also run to the outer atolls such as BH/Lighthouse and Turneffe.

Dive with martin does 3 dives a day. They leave early at 7:30 and we were usually always the first on the dive site. The second dive they leave close to 1 then 2 though. The 3rd dive was the shallow reef 60 feet or less.

FWIW, one of my favorite Cozumel dive sites is Colombia Shallows where the average depth is about 20 feet. It's definitely a real dive.

Aquasafaris, next to McDonalds just outside the ferry port do 3 tanks per day for $70.

2009 rates: Aqua Safari's 2-tank costs $75 on the Belinda (8am or 1pm, 8 divers, fast boat, reserve in advance) and $70 on the Ocean boats (8:30am, 12-16 divers w/ 2 DM's.) The daily afternoon 3rd tank (2:30pm) is $12 for people who dive with them that morning and goes to various parts of Paradise South or to Villablanca Wall for an hour or so.

They also offer "Wacky Wednesdays": A leisurely 3-tank trip starting at 8:30 and ending when it ends. Dive site choices depend on where folks have already been -- usually begins with one of the Palancars or Colombia, then to Colombia Shallows, finishing at a third 50-60' site on the way back to town. Wacky Wednesday uses one of the large boats and while I always enjoy it (usually attracts interesting people), lots of divers pass on it because it's a long day on a boat and costs $13 more than the std. 3-tank program. Requires advance sign up as they need 6 divers (I think that's the number) to make the trip.

your proba&bly right.

I just do not want to do 6 afternoon dives at Paradise reef.;)

Papahogs does 3 tanks days , also Dive Paradise has a "cock-a-doodle-do" dive trip that does a dawn dive and 2 regular dives all before lunch. We did it with them once and thought it was fun but I wouldn't want to do it every day as they pick you up at your hotel pier before sunrise!

With Papahogs you can do 2 dives, then they take you back to their shop location where you can have lunch at Hogtown Cafe (excellent food for great prices) and after you finish lunch they go out for the afternoon dive. We used Papahogs for this several trips and it was awesome. Papa Hogs Scuba Emporium of Cozumel - Mexico It worked out well as we knew the boat wasn't leaving without us - the DMs eat lunch right there too. It was nice and relaxing, yet we were able to get in the 3 dives each day. Also, if you want a night dive, they will let you know if they have enough people for that night or they will call around and find a dive op that is going out! Great great service.

Just FYI...95% of single tank afternoon dives (where they come all the way back in and then go out for one tank) will be at Paradise, Villa Blanca, Las Palmas, Chankanaab...so make sure you ASK what their third tank itinerary is. These sites are close in and don't use as much fuel, so they can justify the single tank dives. A single tank will barely cover the fuel cost to get out to Palancar, etc. let alone the other expenses involved in running a trip.

You're better off looking for a two-tank afternoon dive or a three-tank trip that stays out until after the third dive...

Hope that helps!
