:sunny Hi there! My name is Matt. Welcome to Scuba Board! I came here looking for help with my diving dream. I’ve met a lot of nice divers and many helpful divers too. I think you will get the information you need from SB. I look forward to reading future posts about your diving adventures. If you’d like to chat, please PM me.
I am looking forward to seeing you some more around the boards! Congratulations on getting your diving certificate!

Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I have been diving for over two years now! I think that you will be able to learn a lot here at ScubaBoard, and hopefully you will be able to post about some of your experiences as well. If you have any questions, please PM me. Otherwise, I hope to get to know you better around the boards!

Safe diving!

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Check out our Wreck Valley forum to find out where to go locally and to find a bunch of new buddies that may be able to take you to new dive locations.

Don't forget to fill out your profile and dive info, so that we can add context to your future posts. Also, once we know where you are geographically, you may find that you'll have a whole bunch of new dive buddies to choose from locally.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

There are a lot of local divers around.. Your best bet is join a dive club.. One club I associate with is northeast aquanauts..

www.northeastaquanauts.com, they are VERY active and plan lots of get togethers..

Check out the web site and if you are interested in joing or attending a meeting tell them Joe R sent you..

Welcome to the board!

Hi Vincent,

There are a bunch of us on Long Island and we go diving regularly off the beaches when the boats aren't running. You are more than welcome to join us. PM if you want. I am heading down to Florida this weekend and won't be diving locally till the following weekend and that will probably be a beach dive on the Northshore. Welcome to the board and safe diving.
