Nehallenia:
Um - does a wetsuit count as showing off my "attributes", does the smell of wet neoprene and saltwater contain pheromones,

STOP IT.......STOP IT.......STOP IT........

"I LOVE the smell of a pissy wetsuit in the morning... Its the smell of ..... ROMANCE!!"

(note to self: include Nehallenia in my book "babes in black rubber")

Nehallenia:
and is putting my hand up his sleeve because I was freezing after diving in 10 C water sound negotiable enough?? Or have I overdone it?

Oh no! Have I really overdone it? He said to keep in touch . . . . And my wetsuit has never been p****d in!! Ugh! Seriously, though, I couldn't help it I was cold to the point of not understanding English and he had all this body heat that it would have been selfish for him to keep to himself . . . he didn't look as if he HATED it. I don't think he quite knows what to make of me, actually.

10 C water ... I thought you like the cold stuff.
But, warming your hands that way had to turn on the provider/protector in him.
Good call.

And if he's not, you deserve a much more perceptive buddy...

As a northern woman in my early adulthood I only dated men from the south and married one...why? ...of course I was inexperienced then or because my father's from the south. There's always something about a man from the south but you just can't put your finger on it...but I'm divorced now. I learned to enjoy it while it is there and move on when it is not. ;)

Nehallenia:
I recently had an experience where I met a nice man through my work.
A very kind, open, genuine person. I was not the least bit physically attracted to him . . . yet found myself fighting this strange attraction to him. I couldn't wait until he left, he was making me feel so uncomfortable (because he apparently liked me, don't know about the attraction part on his side), being so nice to me, complimenting me on my competence (not on my appearance), helping me with something that needed fixing - I just felt so . . . vulnerable??

However, now that he is gone I feel bereft! This makes no sense - this guy may even have an SO somewhere. I have this feeling of "wish I had gotten to know you better". Also, he is a great person to work with, some people you just click with in certain ways, you know? However, I fear it was just his Southern accent. So, are men with Southern accents irresistible or what? Is that Bill Clinton's secret??

Tom

Does every man have one of those? Are they all friendly provider/protectors? He had already made sure the enclosed part of the boat was warm, and he put my fins on (which was really not necessary, but I relented).

Good call? Think it was another kind of call . . .
