Is anyone using anything other than Cobalt Logbook to download your dives?
I used Subsurface for a while but now I can't get Subsurface to recognize the DC, I get an error 'unable to open com6'.
I tried on several Win7 laptops, ran Process Explorer to make sure com6 is not being used by another app.
Also tried Diving Log 6 but no luck communicating with the DC.
Cobalt Logbook does a decent job but Subsurface has some very nice features. It is able to:
1. Renumber dives.
2. Consolidate two dives into one.
3. Group dives, for instance, create a subgroup for a specific trip.

Thanks.

Are you using the latest version of Subsurface? A few days ago, they released version 4.5.

I use Subsurface with my OSTC sport and I have no problems.

I tried version 4.5 and quickly removed it, buggy as heck.
Anyone else using Subsurface with a Cobalt?
Did you have to perform any special steps to sync?
Subsurface is supposed to use the Cobalt driver that gets installed by Atomics Logbook.

I received a note from Dirk, with SubSurface, saying that he believes this to be a bug in the Windows USB layer shipping with SubSurface. He is without a Windows machine right now in Palau “collecting data”:D, so a fix will need to await his return. So they are aware of the issue and I’m sure a fix will be forthcoming.

I don't know what he's collecting but I'm willing to help.
I don't care if he's collecting rocks.
