Can't log out so iiii can log in. Keeps returning to the start page.??

CAPT HOOK:
OK this is what I did. I went to my browser controlls and I deleted all my internet history and cookies...
Then I went into my explorer and deleted more Temp internet stuff that didn't get deleted before,
Then I used my Norton system works to clean a few more things that didn't get cleaned with the previous two operations.
Then I was able to log out and back in succesfully
