Someone said she went to Mexico City to work for the homeless. It was our favorite restaurant on Cozumel. Hope the rest of the "girl gang" is still on the island.

It joins the growing list of restaurants on Cozumel which now are no mas.

Capi Navegante
Sonora Grill
La Morena
Acuario
Santiago's
Cafe Azul
Los Gav... something (their emblem/logo was an eagle, was upstairs near Sonora Grill)

And Cha Cha's Kitchen, which closed when she opened Local 707.

Also, one of the places I used to really like is experiencing a slow, lingering demise as beach erosion undermines it, causing it to slo-mo collapse into the Caribbean - Playa Bonita.

Let's not forget Prima, even the last iteration. Used to be THE place in Cozumel!

Are you saying that La Terraza, which took over the old Prima location, is closed too? If so, that's a loss in my book.

I liked La Terraza, but it just wasn't the same as the original Prima when it was in that location. I think the owner made a mistake moving Prima to the top of the El Cantil building - it became overpriced and inconvenient, and lost a lot of the appeal of the old Prima.
