dove out of Newburyport yesterday afternoon off a boat. Good size rollers outside the merrimac. Visibility was about 5 - 6 feet temps 60 at the surface. 54 at depth only about 20 feet max depth. not a bad day I got 10 keepers, 1 fishing rod and a found a nice guage on the bottom. My buddy got 18 with one just under the max. Lots of broken lobster traps and ropes in the area we dove. Did two tanks each. did see a few strippers and skate. Also dove the day before at folly lots of surge while trying to exit. Not fun. Did get 1 flounder but no lobsteres everything was short. I might go today to try scalloping. depnds on the weather.
