Hi,
Anyone actually stay at the Lizard Inn before?
We are planning our third trip to Bonaire and are hoping to keep costs down.
Previously we have stayed at an apartment just north of the circle and Eden Beach.
Anything else in that price range come to mind, other than the hut?
We need our 1 non diver to be comfortable while she is not underwater with us, or snorkeling at our dive site.
Thanks in advance,
Kees

have not stayed at lizard inn. what is your budget? Not a lot of amenities but we have stayed many times at the black durgon inn. love the place but it is not for everyone. not the cheapest but seemed reasonable to us.

Please check out: Beachcomber Villas

We toured them when we were there in May and have booked with them next July. You can't beat the price, location and accommodation amenities. I think your non-diver will be happy on the large terrace or using the swimming pool almost next door. The Cliff Dive site is right in front. The best part? The owners. They are terrific.

Thanks for the replies so far.
I'm taking the Lizard Inn's prices as a standard for now.
$90 per night for a studio, $70 for a double room. add $10 per night for the tax.

I think my non diver might be bored all the way up by the black durgon inn.
Also, not having access to nitrox to dive the house reef would be a tough sell for the others in my group.
Intriguing place though, and certainly affordable.

Thanks for the beachcomber villas recommendation .
It looks like a great place, but not in the same price range as the lizard inn.

So, I'll ask again, does anyone have first hand experience with the lizard inn, or can someone recommend another property that is similar in price?
Thanks in advance,
Kees

Perhaps Bonaire Ocean Front appartments, rented through Bonaire Sun Rentals? On the boulevard, 2 mins walk from the center, small pool and dive shop on the premises. Don't know the prices tough. Stayed there 2 times, both time were fine. Somewhat older appartments, but the location is very good.
