Spent the week of November 20 to 27 living and diving with Blue Angel....

It was freakin' awesome!! :D

Can't say enough about the staff at the resort and the divemasters and crew. Small go-fast boats, and nobody pushing us to finish dives. Weather was very coorporative....rained a few times, but never interfered with diving.

Met a couple of Scubaboard members....most notably Tunaman, who did such a great job in this thread describing our adventures.

Managed to get in 16 dives in 6 days. My wife insisted on a few leisure afternoons by the pool. Finally got a chance to use my camera gear somplace other than the local pool.

Loved the daily blog...I am in Coz in January for the first time since 1974. Your stories are making it hard to be patient.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the info. I will be making my first foray to Coz with the ScubaBoard Invasion this coming June! I definitely want to do a cenote or two.

The folks at the restaurant had been making me a little treat all week (I like my food SPICY!!!) and so on the last day they gave me a to go bag with a half dozen green habeneros. The peppers made it through customs and today I made the last batch. Slice and de-seed, then rub with a little olive oil, fire roast, then dice and add fresh lime juice and sea salt. Best condiment EVER!!! Just another over the top service example from the BA resort!! Notice the rubber gloves - I made the first batch without them and paid for it all day long (wiping nose, scratching eyes, using the bathroom OUCH!)

"Our partner in crime on the boat Rodger had dinner reservations with his non diving wife, so we came back to the BA for our interval. Duration 46 mins 72 fsw max."

Sorry about that dude.....but...you know....gotta keep the Boss happy....to keep the dive trips in the que....
Fair Winds,
Roger
