I'm planning to go for a liveaboard trip since I haven't been. I'm thinking of going Similan or anywhere in Indonesia. Any advise which place is good?

Hi Denise

I personally would choose a liveaboard trip to Indonesia over the Similans every time.

However, from your profile, you appear to have only dived 25 to 49 times, on based on that dive experience perhaps a liveaboard to the Similan Islands (the boats usually visit other dive sites near to the Similans such as Richelieu Rock) would be more appropriate for you at this stage of your diving 'career'. The diving is easier there for new/inexperienced divers than most liveaboard trips in Indonesia.

Please note that liveaboards to the Similans operate only from about October or November to May or April. I think that liveaboards operate in Indonesia all year round.

Whatever you choose I'm sure that you'll have a great time.
