We’ve done the Turks and Caicos liveaboard twice and I would not hesitate to do it again. We’ve done the Caymans liveaboard once and did not get to make the crossing to LC. I found Grand Cayman to be boring and would not repeat that trip again since crossing is not always an option. We’ve also done the Bahamas trip a couple of times. It’s okay but we mostly repeated it because it’s easy to get to and was less expensive. Turks would be my choice.

Never seen a shark in 3 GC and 1 Brac trip(s). I havent been back to GC since 2013 and and Brac since 2017, and may never go back as I found the diving boring. At least in the bahamas we saw nurses, reefers and we happened upon a scared puffer ll blown up! lol

Agree - of the 3 choices, this one is amazing. You will not get night diving if land based. We DID get a natural feeding frenzy on our trip 2022 - and its on film - really badass!

We are back on that boat October 2025!

The sharks used to be quite rare on LC pre-covid (like 0-2 non-nurse sharks per week of diving). Since the covid shut down, they are significantly more common. On our last trip, we were seeing 1-2 non-nurse sharks per day in 3 dives/day. T&C really depends on where you go. We dove South Caicos a couple of years ago and never saw a shark of any kind and the reefs were very bleached out and devoid of significant schools of fish. Their stingrays were gigantic, but the rest of the life was pretty meh.
