Difficult to say, mate – what do you like?

If you are into wrecks and don't mind colder water and drysuits, then Scapa Flow rocks – WWI German battleships! Yippee!

If you like little critters, then Indonesia for the Lembeh Strait...

If you want colourful wrecks, walls and corals, then the Red Sea is great...

Need more info on your personal likes and wants, otherwise far too open a question

Well...I'm biased!!!

Personally I think that Asian liveaboards produce the most "bang per buck", as well as world class diving. If you want an example of what Asia has to offer you can follow the link in my signature for a special ScubaBoard trip we're trying to arrange for next year! ;)

Pick your location first - then look at the availability - then ask about those specific liveaboards.

Also search them.

any feedback?

which ones look good? which one would get me the most bang for my buck and would be a cool place to visit, too?
You want to do more research than just looking at that web site. It's a travel agent site listing a small selection of boats, not any kind of comprehensive directory.

i was also thinking of renting an RV, and spend a month driving across the US and diving all the greatest places...

california: wreck alley
florida: cave diving
great lakes

maybe places where they say you can find gold in the water...

i don't know a lot of places, but maybe we can put some up here...

That website was last updated January 2005. Not a very reliable resource. I just did a liveaboard on the Bahamas on the Juliet. They will be in Turks & Caicos in a couple of months. Great trip and not too expensive.
