I'm a Fish!
just a quick question about the live aboards to Galapagos. Do you have to book them online. Or you can just bust the place where they are leaving and book a spot over there? What do you recommend and are there costs differences

Personally, I'm not sure that's the approach I'd personally take with regards to diving in the Galapagos, but that's me. We just booked our trip 2.5 years out and some of the dates around our trip have sold out already. I'd hate to go thru the effort and expense of getting to the Galapagos and hoping that you can get a last minute deal.

What I did, and it worked up great for me, was just book everything from Happy Gringo. They taylor your trip to your budget, and the things you want to see (big for us were hammerhead schools) and already work with several dive centers in the Islands, so they´ll have you all set up. Something to remember is that you´ll be hitting waters that are 15-20 C, so be sure to take a good 7mm wetsuit with you (hood and booties are a plus). Or just take a tropical dry suit.

Enjoy the islands!

You have to book far in advance generally. Sometimes spots open up last minute with cancellations though.
