International airline standards (IATA) allow lithium batteries up to 160 wH to be carried in hand luggage provided they conform to UN DOT 38.3. Anyone had a recent experience with lithium powered u/w light batteries on Garuda? Any hassles experienced or advice to offer?

Thanks,

I haven't had any issues, I use a LIPO "battery bag" for all of my batteries and keep it in my carry on. Although I don't think there is any reason to use the bag for normal lithium camera batts etc I have one so i use it..

Take a printout if the specs of your light to show it conforms just in case.
