Bonaire Insider just posted a story about the first probable sighting of a lionfish in bonaire waters.. Knew it was coming, but it's still not confirmed.
Anyone visiting Bonaire is encouraged to keep an eye open and report ANY sightings, with details on location, ie: depth, distances, site name, size, etc.

Jim-I think its just a matter of time..read about a confirmed sighting in Aruba recently!:shakehead:
For such slow swimmers they sure have made some quick commutes!

Wonder if Stinapa has a plan in the works..? (not that it will help!)

Wasnt the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas the cause of all this?

I just got back from Aruba and someone actually caught a lion fish there about 2 weeks ago. It's actually on live display in a local restaurant. I didn't see it but our dive master, Romeo Cruz, said he was going to stop by to check it out on our last day.
