I was going to use my newly purchased lionfish hotel to go catch some lobster. I enter the water and don't realize I've instantly lost my bag, it came right off even though the clip was still snapped closed. Luckily someone on the boat realized it and grabbed it. Yea, I got made fun of when I got back on the boat and hadn't realized I had lost it. Luckily (or unluckily) I didn't catch any lobster on that dive anyways. I felt the pvc piece bumping my leg the entire time, so I just assumed it was there.

We used a zip tie to secure the bag to the pvc housing and I dove again. I definitely could tell the difference as the bag would hit my leg and not just the pvc housing. I didn't find a single bug on the 2nd dive (I was on the west ledge and everyone was finding them on the east ledge). Not that it would have mattered, the slack part of the bag which gets folded around the strap and housing that holds it unfolded and was wide open.

What good is this thing if you can't take it in the water? So even if I caught a lobster, it could have crawled right out the top opening because it doesn't securely stay tight on the pvc housing. Then to get it out of the water, I had to turn it upside down to empty it out because the two holes at the bottom just don't move enough volume of water.

Then someone notes it says "DRY" bag on the bag... WTF?

This thing is absolute junk without some sort of modifications.
