Today I went lionfish hunting in Montego Bay.
My DM expertly handled the Hawaiian Sling and I served as a spotter.
We nuked 8 lionfishes in 35 minutes.
I'm ready to do it again, what a rush.

Once harpooned the fish was placed against some hard coral and pierced with another rod, poked a few times to abbreviate it's suffering and left to feed the reef creatures it had fed upon.

Good job. While tasty, I think we should cut and bait them to the other fish. We need our predators to see them as food, and then they can begin to prune the population. Good job!

Belmont, this is good news.. As beautiful as they are, they are just overtaking the reefs in Negril.

(If I can remember my youtube password, I'll load the clip there.)

That's a fantastic action video !!! We have seen a lot of Lionfish on dives but never seen that behaviour.
