I would like to find time to write a long trip report but I haven't gotten to it.

I loved Dominica and the diving. It is my new favorite spot in the Caribbean.

We stayed at the Fort Young Hotel and dove -dived (?) with Nature Island DIve. I would book the whole trip again in a heartbeat (only to stay longer)

Beautiful! You chose the best for hotel & diving. Yes, a little taste of Dom isn't enough -- we've spent over 3 weeks there in two trips & seeing your photos reminds me how great it is. (Too many islands, too little time...) What's the story with the no-BC diving?

Thanks, the guy without a BC had chosen not to do the last dive of the day but then we fond some great sea horses so he jumped in with just the tank to see them in 20ft of water. He is from the Pacific Northwest.

Thank you, the pictures were shot with the Canon G5 with Ikelite Housing and DS125 single strobe. I have just upgraded to the Canon G9

Seems like you picked the best combination of hotel and dive op.
How did that work with that combination? Did you drive to Nature Island Dive each day? How long a drive to them?

Yes, it was a 10-15 minute drive to Nature Island Dive. They also would pick us up at Fort Young but since we had a rental car we did the drive ourselves. From NID the dive sites were only a few minutes away by boat. Loved it!
