reel stops.jpgreel stops on mantas.jpgreel stops wcoins.jpg

Once in awhile I get an idea for something that I think will help other divers. This is one of those items. Looking at my new Manta Nano, Nano +, and CR1 reels as well as my Dive Rites I had an idea for a line stop. One that could be used with heavy gloves and not slip or be mistaken for something else when grabbing it without being able to see. I came up with these.

These are waterjet cut from durable 1/2 inch thick delrin. I designed them so that they would be easy to grip. The white really shows up in darker conditions and has an unmistakeable shape. The outside diameter is .7 inches and the ID is .187 so it easily handles #24 and #36 lines. Right now I have 36 of these available and can make more as needed. I had 37 but my cat decided she likes them as well and is very busy chasing it around the apartment! The price for each is 1.25 and I can mail these for around a buck in the US for up to 6 in a padded envelope.

Thanks.
