Was just wondering if they are any other people out there into the Lindy Hop (Swing Dancing)?

I got into Swing Dancing a couple of years ago but never got very good and stopped going. I wouldn't mind getting back into it because it was fun. I don't really have any favorite bands. I do like Brian Setzer but other than that I don't know many.

Used to be big into ballroom dancing. I could never find a partner my age.

Well, I did find one, but I completely screwed that up

Anyway, I've been thinking that it is time to get back into the game, so to speak.

There are a few swing clubs/bars here in Orlando, and I've run across a couple good instructors.

So I am beating the bushes for a partner.

You don't really need a partner if you just want to dance... The lindy Hop is very social (so dance with everyone). you only really need a partner if you want to compete... other than that just have fun....

I was in Maimi back in May for a couple of days before I went on a cruise (which sealed the deal for me learning how to scuba took a discover dive...way cool) anyway i had a chance to go dance and meet a bunch of people from the FL scene...they were really cool...
