    Its lai-see/hongbao/CNY colours are striking.

    however for me I'd simply prefer a red bezel with a black and red strap in the original colour format. Perhaps one day ...

    I’ll never buy a watch with a coating on metal that will get scratched eventually but it does look cool!

    What’s used for the gold coloring? Curious how it will hold up? I will say I thought I was set on a perdix but now I want this thing so much more lol. I’m a sucker for color.

    Probably a PVD coat. Quality depends on how much the manufacturer wants to spend on it.

    No matter how much they spent on it it will scratch at some point... of course some coating are more resistant than others (damasko and Sinn are pretty good) and last longer but it always end up with scratches. Those are dive watches, they’ll hit stuff it’s only a matter of when not if
