Okay,

So I've now done a few forays with my JVC digital video camera, played with that, got down some of the basics of shooting video, got some lovely video of the ocean floor when I forgot to turn the camera off (haven't we all done that?)

So, next things... I recently got a new camera (Sanyo VPC-C5) and housing for it, but now I'm thinking lights... however I really don't know much about lights for video/photography (the camera takes 5.1MP photos as well as reasonable video).

Any good sites for learnin? My main problem I think is going to be weight, since the lights can't weigh too much (size of camera case) or am I way off base here?

This forum board has a great search feature.

Go to the advanced search section. Search keyword "video lights", titles only.

Plenty of good stuff to read.
