Well! I asked a very generalized question, and got some nice, generalized answers,...thank you very much! NOW, lets try specifics.
I now have a Sony DSC-N1 to complement my Nikonos V. I will soon purchase the marine pack for this new camera, and I'd like to know if any of you have experience with U/W photos with this camera? Will I need to add external flash capabilities to take pics at the distances I'm used to shooting (I'm used to setting up my Nikonos, and substrobe, to point and shoot at distances of three to five feet,...this works very nice for most of the pics I take with my Nikonos V, but it has a manual focus 35mm lens, and my Ikelite substrobe is limited to about four to five feet before it "scatters out")? I would like to make this Sony more versatile for macro shots, and an occasional, lucky shot of pelagics (typically at distance, altho I expect that my only choice for those will be to deal with the blue coloration, due to the lack of light (I could add filters, but I worry about light reduction with them). Can anybody give me some input? Thanks, Todd.

Thank you very much! Perfect! Todd.
