I think we were there in December previously. As Stoo said, they weren't noticeable during mid-day, but at dawn and dusk you definitely wanted some spray. I would often fish off of the back service dock during the day when we had breaks from diving. It was as good a spot as any to get bit and they weren't bad during the day.

I'd be more concerned about the crocs out back at dusk, rather than the 'skeeters! :cool:

I'd fish pretty late and never saw one. I'd see tracks in the sand however when I walked the shoreline in the morning. :)
