Hi,

a question about what light temperature is good/best for nightdiving...

I'm looking around a bit for a nightdiving lamp, and I find that all lamps have a light temperature, measured in Kelvin. I've seen it range from 3700 to 6300 Kelvin. (for different lamps)

All I know about this, is that the light temperature influences how you perceive color, but I do not know what light temperature makes you see the 'real' colors - as close to what they really are as possible.

Who knows a bit more about what temperature would be best?

Thanks,
Job

A sunny day at noon is about 5500 K now this changes through out the day but some where in that range will be very good for color retention.
