Just got my Sony HDR-HC9 and my Amphibico housing should be at my door by the end of the week ... next step is the light ... my budget is busted long time ago with my new slr rig so ...

i found only 2 choices for the money i have left ( 0$ :shakehead:)

the Amphibico Discovery 10w HID or
Sea & Sea LX-33 33W

any recomendation about those two lights ?

Thanks

Hey jfproul,
Here's what I did. I have the discovery 10W HID it came with the package I bought. I also had a UK light cannon HID. I went a bought another light cannon and buoyancy arms from Ultralight Control Systems They make adapters for the UK light cannons. With the standard filters UK provides it sets a nice wash for your scenes. I found that I had to double up the filters but I am very happy with the results.

Is it enough light? Well, my dive buddies call me "the Sun" :eyebrow:

hope that helps.
