I dont have this one, but from the spec the color temp seems too high. I wouldn't take anything higher than 5000K. This might be a candidate, just need to research the color temp:

(I have its sibling, the Archon D32VR, which is 5000k, but a little too weak)

John, we are the Light For Me Americas distributors. That light has a true punch of a 55watt HID video light, its a monster in sheep's skin.
I love them, we have done lots of wreck and cave diving videos, will publish them soon.

Please take a look at my setup that I use with my scooter and double 3XML lights. I also use them with two rubber grip handles with a camera tray when diving without scooter.

Yes, its a full power or off ... some of our customers are using all kinds of purchased / made diffusers to change the intensity / color of the light.
