OK I'm trying to find a BC for my daughter. she is 5 5 130 so she would need a standard 34lb lift. well i would like to get her the ranger womens, but it only comes with the 44lb bladder and i dont think she will ever need that much lift. she is not going to dive doubles. is there any thing bad about getting to much lift.:confused::confused:so is this a bad thing or a good thing to have the larger bladder.

help worried dad. :dontknow:

and buy the way she looked at the Zena she didn't like it. and she wants what dad has and i have the ranger ltd.

You should be able to order the Ranger with just about any size bladder. Thats one of the great things about the Zeagle BC's, there is the ability to mix and match much of the parts of the BC to suit your size or needs.

Talk to your LDS or Zeagle Express they should be able to help you out, and the smaller bladder should make it cheaper.

44lbs is too much for most anyone not diving doubles. .....wait a minute....looking for something....found it.... what you need want is the Zeagle Brigade. It is a exclusive BC sold by Scubatoys that is a Ranger harness with with a 35 lb bladder off the Escape/Scout. And it's cheaper than the Ranger to boot. Zeagle Brigade BCD discounts on sale Zeagle

i asked this same question to the people at zeagle and you can have any bladder put on the ranger w was the short answer.

i was also told you can order the ranger ldt in a woman cut. so with that i don't see why you can't ordrer say a ranger ltd in a woman cut with stiletto ltd bladder

i think the last option is what i am getting my wife.

gives you :

zip mount with zip mount adaptors (they cant sew them to stiletto bladder)
35 # lift bladder
right shoulder dump
mesh pouches for weights
the woman cut
and the rest is the ranger ltd you have

thanks guys ill talk to my lds and see what we can come up with.
thank for your input it helps.

windtech, my fiancee bought herself a Zeagle Stiletto. It has a 35lb lift bladder and it's not near as huge as the Ranger ( I have a ranger). She is 5'11'' with an athletic build.
She has taken this BC below 100ft. freshwater with a HP119 and not had any problems at all. She wears it with 7mm and a 5/7mm hooded vest and about 16-18lbs. of lead.

*Zeagle's website says it's a "travel BC", in my opinion it's more of an all-around BC; we have have Zealge Scouts for warm-water travel BC's.

The other Option would be to get a Scout BC with the 35lb. wing instead of the 24lb. which is included normally.
